Heard about Google Chatback?

Have you heard about a feature called Google chatback? It’s a new feature added to Google Talk used for the visitors of your blog or website to chat anonymously with you without even having a Google account. You must have seen Yahoo snippets like the one shown below in many websites. Clicking on these snippets allows you to chat with the person if online when you are connected to yahoo messenger.

Google has included similar feature to it’s chat client. You can add the the code generated from this link to your page doing which a snippet (like the one shown below) will appear on your page. Clicking on this snippet will allow the visitor of your page to chat with you anonymously if you are online. Privacy issues are not addressed by Google, you got to put it up at your consent.

Bro!
Not much value addition right? We always had the Meebo interface.which enabled folks to chat through the blog. WordPress made it all the more easy by having it as a default widget.
I haven’t used Meebo plugin… I’ll try and then comment on this
I have got no idea how to add that one to my wordpress…It works fine on my blogspot blog though…
Unfortunately, wordpress does not support iframe tag. If you are running wordpress on your own hosting space, then you may add the html tag to the template itself.
Balaji, you can add chatback’s iframe onto WP sidebar using http://alax.info/blog/tag/wp-googletalk plugin
