On my way to Coorg !

I live in Hyderabad but most of my friends are in Bangalore. That is where I was working earlier. We friends have planned for a weekend trip to Coorg. I will be traveling with few of my friends from Hyderabad to Bangalore by train and would reach Bangalore by 6:30 in the morning (hopefully). We then will take a cab from Bangalore which is already arranged by my friends there. Coorg is nearly 260 KMs away from Bangalore, that would be a 6 hrs journey by road.
We are planning to check-in some nice homestay there. I found a whole bunch of them on http://www.homestaykodagu.com. They aren’t too expensive, they charge between Rs. 350- Rs. 1500 for a night stay per person. I noticed that it is cheaper if you book for two nights instead of just one. There are nice places to visit there. I would be back by monday morning. Will share my experience and pictures with you all.

Me from Hyderabad. We are planning for Coorg in July. So when you come back on Monday, please let me know how was your stay experience with the hotel you mentioned above and is there any train facility from Banglore to Coorg and how much time it takes to reach over there ? Did you need any guide to visit places in Coorg ? Did you keep the same cab with you in Coorg also and then till Banglore ? And also please tell me about the major distances eg. railway station etc. from the Homestay Kodagu hotel. Thanks.
